We take a £100 deposit to secure your booking.  This is payable when you book, with the balance being payable on arrival.

 

The deposit is non-refundable.  However, should your travel plans be unavoidably disrupted, we will do our best to re-book your room and rearrange your stay, carrying your deposit forward to your next visit.  

 

 

In the event that you cancel with plenty of notice, and we are able to rebook your room, we will be happy to refund your deposit. 

 

Although we live at the B&B, we do not employ a receptionis and our reception is therefore not manned unless we are expecting guests.  We therefore request that you let us know when you are coming the day before your arrival, to ensure that we are here to greet you!  We further ask that you let us know on the day if there is a change to your ETA, and text or ring when you are half an hour away.  Sorry if this seems excessive - we will often have built our day around your arrival time, you see, and we'd hate to leave you standing on the doorstep.

 

We are very happy to be flexible about arrival times, and if your room is not ready for you when you arrive (if early in the morning), we are always happy to take your suitcases in, sort out your parking for you provided that we have capacity to overlap with guests who are already in situ, and send you off to enjoy some extra time in the village while we finish your room for you.

 

You can drive down to The Cottage and park outside to drop luggage, people etc.  We will then give you a parking permit for the Polperro Car Park.  Between February and October half term, a TukTuk service runs between the B&B and the Car Park - very useful for those with limited mobility!

Breakfast room
Breakfast is served at table.  The Breakfast Room is on the ground floor.

Bedrooms
There are three bedrooms in the main, 17th century part of the property.  They are accessed via a 12 step stair case with a hand rail to the left. All rooms have king sized beds and en-suite shower rooms with walk in showers. Max step height 20cm.

The Hideaway

The Hideaway is a separate bedroom and en-suite, at the back of the garden.  Accessed via 25 steps, with a hand rail.  As the steps are of varying heights and depths, those with mobility issues may be more comfortable in room in the house.  King sized bed, en-suite shower and private sun terrace - sun not guaranteed!
