Home Cooked Ham

We like to make a point of making as much of our food from scratch as we possibly can, and we've always found home cooked ham way tastier than any we could buy in the shops.

Here's the latest one. A gammon joint, simmered slowly in a pan with a couple of handfuls of herbs and spices - whole cumin and coriander seed, cinnamon bark and herbes de Provence - then glazed with home made Apple & Ginger Jelly, from our apple-trees in the garden (and available over in our shop section) and roasted to finish it off in a hot oven.

We do small joints and do them regularly, so the ham is only ever a couple of days old. Appearing soon, in a sandwich near you!
