Containing only wild garlic, fresh lemon juice and zest, toasted pumpkin seeds, extra virgin olive oil and Cornish sea salt, this wild garlic pesto is suitable for pretty much any diet.  It also uses only wild garlic leaves, which makes it tolerable to some people who can't eat garlic or onions (alliums) but who are missing a bit of garlic in their diet.  Saying "people can eat this" is somewhat damning it with faint praise, so on with the proper praise!

It's absolutely packed with glorious flavour, green as a green thing with a very good reason to be green, and will breathe life into your evening meal, your sandwiches, your salads - everything!  We at Shabby Gourmet never have it with pasta, but I'm told it's excellent.  We slather it on grilled chicken and fish, dollop it into potato salad and on to hot new potatoes, into jacket potatoes, wallop it in a sandwich and hurl it into a salad dressing.  Your imagination is your limit with this one.  Let us know what you do with it!
