Health Tip
While most people do not think about it much. Most all of us drink Pepsi or Coca Cola products. Others, drink alcoholic beverages. What you may not be aware of, is the risks from drinking from the cans of these products. Any beverage that you are not using a clean glass for, I highly recommend that you wash these items thoroughly. These products often wait in storage, where rats and mice are likely to urinate on these products. The urine from these animals can be highly toxic. Please be aware. All cans and bottles need to be washed when brought home from the market. I also recommend using straws if a clean glass is not available to you. I can't say this enough...Wash Your Hands!!
Cleaning Tip
I prefer to use a Vinegar and water solution to dust and clean my wood and glass furniture. It cleans your furniture without streaking. Leaving a natural shine with no wax build up on your furniture. My solution is 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water. You can use an old Windex bottle to store and use your solution. I find this is best to use on most everything in my home. Vinegar is a natural cleaning solution that is completely safe. While it may have a strong odor at first. It goes away quite quickly.
Floor Care
Stop fighting with streaky floors!! Vinegar and water cleans terrific and no streaking. Stop using those Swiffer Mops. They don't clean very well and the solution they use is not safe for
animals. (Which means, it probably is not safe for children.) If you want to use the Swiffer Mops for their disposal ease. Then I suggest using the same Vinegar Solution and spray your floor instead of using their cleaning solution. The results are much better and healthier for everyone. The great thing about this solution is it can be used on all types of floors. Ask your mom or your grandmother... she will agree, Vinegar works.
