I
am a wife and mother of 2 daughters. I have been a local resident of
Loudon County,Tn for over 35 years. (Transplanted from Florida) I
currently reside in Roane County, TN.My knowledge and expertise in chores, comes from strict raising by my parents and a "do it right, the first time" philosophy. We didn't have all these technical toys to play with. We had chores to do to fill our time.
Growing up in a house with what some would call a "clean freak", I have learned the how-to's to get a home clean.
I know that it takes more than a "miracle cleaner" to actually get your home clean. It takes, "get down and scrub it, elbow grease" to achieve a clean, healthy home.
I know that it takes more than a "wipe" to clean something. (Wiping something doesn't get it clean.)
With, my services, TheShabbyGourmet you can depend on the same friendly face, doing your "chores". You will not have to wonder when or who is going to be there.

My passion and one of hobbies are my flower gardens and my koi pond. I find that working in the yard soothes the stress away and brings new hope to a new day.
So, if you have weeds strangling your flowers, please let me hand pull those weeds for you. Making sure your flowers aren't damaged in the process.

As I said before, I love gardening. I am not a professional by any means. Merely, a novice that enjoys the beauty that gardening brings.

That's how I got started. I was tired of dreaming about beautiful and bountiful gardens. I decided to take it up in my leisure time and teach myself on a learn as you grow basis.
I have indoor herb gardens, to flower gardens to my husbands vegetable garden. I say my husband's vegetable garden only because he does most of the work in this one. He enjoys using his lawn & garden equipment. But, I definitely reap the benefits.

TheShabbyGourmet is
not a company with numerous employees. I am an individual, who on
occasion, may need to employ extra resources to fully satisfy my duties
in your home. Additional Rates may apply.
You will have my utmost respect for you and your home while I am in your home and when I am not. In other words, your home and privacy are very important to me as it is to you. I do not give your information to anyone, without your written consent. I have no need to discuss your home with anyone but you. (The only time I would ask for anything like that, would be for advertising or referral services only.)
Discretion is always applied to all my clients. I do not discuss anything that is seen or heard in your home. Your business is your business. As Americans we are all entitled to privacy. And yours is assured with me.
As a home owner myself, I want you to feel comfortable with me in your home. I wouldn't want someone I wasn't comfortable with in my home. So when you meet me, I'm kind of on the shy side. I'm not a salesman.
With most maid services, you never know who is coming into your home. They can't control who is and isn't going to show up for work. So they have to switch employees around. (This isn't to say that they don't get the job done faster.)
This leaves you with unfamiliar faces, that have never cleaned your home. (which may leave you feeling less secure).They may not know your "main concerns" in the house not to mention "precious items that aren't to be touched."
I offer one on one service. We will agree on a day and time for me to provide services. You will know it is myself that will always be arriving to do your chores. Although, as afore mentioned, I may on occasion employ extra resources in order to complete my duties.
If extra resources are needed, I will advise you of this and any extra cost this may incur. All pricing will be said upfront and agreed upon by both parties before beginning assignment.
I do not add on hidden fees or extra costs after the job is done. If extra fees are incurred, from adding ala carte items, it is plainly agreed upon by both you and I what the total price will be before proceeding with extra assignment(s).
Clear Communication is very important between you and your cleaning service. In order for me to provide you with superior service, I request all your comments and suggestions. Everyone has special needs in their home. Tell me yours, I'm listening.
Agreements for services are made verbally (on the honor system). If written agreement is needed, one will be provided.
I will give 110% to clean your home. I do not schedule more than I can handle in one day. Your home is important to me. I allow the amount of time you need to have your home cleaned. (Business hours are 8am - 5pm Mon - Fri)
If you are not happy with my services for any reason, you are under no obligation to continue with my services. You can cancel at anytime. (24 hours notice would be appreciated) No questions asked. (although it would be polite, and help me to improve my services, to let me know if I were doing something wrong.) If you are not satisfied for any reason, we can part as friends. No hard feelings.
My job is to help you. Let me know what I can do to help your daily housework disappear. Dishes piling up, laundry not getting done, ironing piling up in the corner, don't have an automatic oven cleaner? need to make room in your closets? I can help with all of that and much more.
